2. Get the game client (build 12.0.7.68453)

You need a World of Warcraft Midnight client matching build 12.0.7.68453.

• Full client (split 7z archive): folder /downloads/client/ — files AzerothForge-12-Client-Full.7z.001, .002, … Join them with 7-Zip and extract.
• Or use your own legal 12.0.7.68453 client if you already have it.

3. Download and apply the AzerothForge patch

This patch sets the SSL portal hostname (required by Arctium).

1. Extract the ZIP anywhere.
2. Run install-patch.bat.
3. When asked, enter the path to your client folder (the folder that contains _retail_ or Wow.exe).
4. The script copies WTF/Config.wtf with:
   SET portal "realm.azerothforge.com:27219"

Manual alternative: create/edit _retail_/WTF/Config.wtf and put:

SET portal "realm.azerothforge.com:27219"
SET realmlist "realm.azerothforge.com"
SET patchlist "realm.azerothforge.com"

Do not use a raw IP. Arctium needs a valid SSL certificate on the hostname.

4. Install and configure Arctium Launcher

Retail 12.x private realms are started with Arctium Game Launcher (not the Blizzard app).

1. Download Arctium from the official project: github.com/brian8544/Arctium-Launcher
2. Open Arctium and set the game path to your client _retail_\Wow.exe.
3. Set the portal to:
   realm.azerothforge.com:27219
4. Start the game from Arctium (not from Battle.net).

5. Log in

• Account: the email you registered on azerothforge.com
• Password: your website / Battle.net password
• Realm: AzerothForge 12.x
